Made from 100% Garganega grapes from vineyards of volcanic origin on the slopes of Monte Grande in the municipality of Monteforte, at an altitude of 160m with south-eastern exposure. Clean, bright and light in colour; attractive, fresh, open nose, with perfumes of almond blossom and white flowers. Dry with lively acidity, slight nutty complexity on the palate, plenty of ripe melon fruits with a hint of yeast on the finish. A very well made wine with a clean, crisp finish.
A natural match with mussels.

Floc de Gascogne is a rich and aromatic blend of Armagnac and unfermented grape juice (called “mistelle”) made according to a traditional Gascony recipe originating in the 16th century. Both grape juice and Armagnac must come from the same vineyard and are stored for at least 10 months following blending.The Chiroulet estate has for the last two decades had a solid reputation as producers of great Flocs de Gascogne. This Floc rosé is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon et Cabernet Franc.A pink tint of steeped raspberries with warm reflections. Aromas of candied spice and fairly pulpy red fruits (cherries/cherry liqueur/rose).
